The 28th match of the ongoing season of IPL 2024 will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants (KKR vs LSG). Let us tell you that this match between the two teams will be played at the historic Eden Garden in Kolkata. Before facing each other in this match, both the teams will be out of form as both the teams are coming after losing their previous match. KKR was defeated by Chennai and Lucknow was defeated by Delhi in the last match.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

So, if we talk about the performance of Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing IPL season, the team had won the first three matches played. However, they had to face defeat by 7 wickets in the match against Chennai. The team is currently at second place in the points table with 6 points from 4 matches with 3 wins and 1 loss. The team’s batting is in form, but the spin department’s failure to perform can prove to be a big headache for the team.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)

On the other hand, if we talk about Lucknow Super Giants, the team played its first match against Rajasthan Royals, in which they had to face defeat. However, after this the team won three consecutive matches. The team’s batting revolves around the opening pair of Quinton de Kock, KL Rahul, Nicholas Pooran and Marcus Stoinis.

Puran and Stoinis were not able to score runs in the match against Delhi, which became one of the main reasons for their defeat after the match. But both these players will look to perform brilliantly against KKR. But Devdutt Padikkal has disappointed in batting.
