IPL 2024: KL Rahul got approval from NCA but LSG may have to face difficulties in the initial matches.

Brilliant wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul has passed the fitness test from the National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru and he can be seen performing well for Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League 2024. KL Rahul will join the Lucknow team on March 20. Let us tell you, Lucknow Super Giants have to play their first match of the Indian Premier League 2024 against Rajasthan Royals on March 24 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

According to the Economic Times, a BCCI source revealed, ‘KL Rahul has been approved by the National Cricket Academy and the brilliant player will join the Lucknow team on March 20. However, he has been told that he may face some problems in wicketkeeping for some time. In the first few matches, KL Rahul will be seen playing only as a batsman.

Lucknow Super Giants are not going to face any problem because the team already has two excellent wicketkeeper batsmen. In place of KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock or Nicholas Pooran can be seen keeping wickets for the team in the upcoming season. Nicholas Pooran has been appointed as the vice-captain of the Lucknow franchise for the upcoming season.

Indian Board of Control for Cricket source made a big revelation

The source of the Board of Control for Cricket in India further said, ‘KL Rahul will not be included in the top 3 in the Indian T20 team because his performance earlier in the order has not been good. KL Rahul can play as wicketkeeper batsman at number 5 or number 6 if he has a good IPL. However, if Rahul plays only as a batsman, then you also have the option of Rinku Singh and Rishabh Pant who can be seen performing tremendously in the upcoming season.

So this was Kohli’s record 50th century in his ODI career. With this century, Kohli became the first cricketer to break the historical record of 49 centuries scored in ODIs by former great cricketer and God of the game Sachin Tendulkar. In the match, Kohli played a brilliant inning of 117 runs in 113 balls with the help of 9 fours and 2 sixes. India won the match by 70 runs If we talk about this first semi-final match played at the historic Wankhede in Mumbai, India had won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Team India scored 397 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
