Let us tell you, Hyderabad team made the biggest total of IPL against RCB. They had scored 287 runs by losing three wickets in 20 overs, in response to which RCB could only score 262 runs by losing 7 wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 25 runs. After the match was over, Faf du Plessis made a big statement about his team. Faf du Plessis was quite surprised by the fact that a lot of runs were scored in the match played against Hyderabad and he also agreed that the team failed to play as per the plan he had made during the practice session.

After the match was over, Faf du Plessis said, ‘I am quite surprised to see the number of runs scored here, it is a world record. I wouldn’t say 270 is a par score here. It is very difficult to bowl on such a day. We had made some plans behind closed doors but it is not working for us.

Cricket becomes very difficult when your confidence is down: Faf du Plessis

The captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore further said, ‘There is nothing to hide in this, when your confidence is down then cricket becomes very difficult. Fast bowlers face a lot of trouble here. We need to do something similar in batting also. There are some places where we have to work. We also have to keep in mind that the run rate does not go up too much after the powerplay.

Similarly, a lot of changes have been seen in the game. I am happy that the players of our team did not lose their confidence while chasing the target and they also batted very well. We also gave them a good fight and I am happy to see this.
