IPL 2024 Orange and Purple Cap Update: CSK vs SRH, who is ahead in the race for Orange-Purple Cap after Match-46


In the latest list of Orange Cap, CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Sai Sudarshan have re-entered the top-5.

IPL 2024 Orange and Purple Cap Update: Two great matches were played in IPL 2024 today on 28th April. In the first match, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Gujarat Titans by 9 wickets. In the second match, Chennai Super Kings won against Sunrisers Hyderabad by 78 runs.

After this match, a big change has been seen in the Orange Cap list, CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Sai Sudarshan have re-entered the top-5. In the latest list of Purple Cap, Mathisha Pathirana and T. Natarajan have re-entered the top-5.

Virat Kohli completed 500 runs in the season

Royal Challengers Bangalore player Virat Kohli played an unbeaten inning of 70 runs in 44 balls against Gujarat Titans. King Kohli is still at the first position in the latest list of Orange Cap with 500 runs in 10 matches. CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad played a brilliant inning of 98 runs off 54 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He is second in the list with 447 runs in 9 matches.

Gujarat Titans batsman Sai Sudarshan scored 84* against RCB. After this innings, he has moved to third place in the Orange Cap list with 318 runs in 10 matches. Sanju Samson (385) is at fourth place and KL Rahul (378) is at fifth place.

In the latest list of Purple Cap, Mumbai Indians bowler Jasprit Bumrah (14) is at first place and Punjab Kings’ Harshal Patel (14) is at second place. CSK bowler Mathisha Pathirana took 2 wickets for 17 runs in 2 overs against Sunrisers Hyderabad today. Pathirana has moved to third place in the list with 13 wickets in 6 matches. In the list, Rajasthan Royals’ Yuzvendra Chahal (13) is at fourth place and Sunrisers Hyderabad player T Natarajan (13) is at fifth place. Natarajan took one wicket for 43 runs in 4 overs against Chennai Super Kings today.
