Sanju claimed that the young batsman has injured many players of the support staff with his batting in the nets. Jaiswal performed brilliantly for RR in IPL 2023 and scored more than 600 runs. Due to his performance, he got a chance to debut for the Indian team, there also he continued his excellent performance in Tests.

In the recently concluded Test series, the left-hander was awarded the Player of the Series and has been in great form at the moment. Meanwhile, while talking to Star Sports, Samson cheekily revealed how Jaiswal is hurting the team’s throwdown specialist in practice.

Samson jokingly said, ‘There are four Sardarjis in our camp. One name is cut, one is pull, one is flick and one is drive. The one whose name is cut is only a cut marigold plant. The one whose name is Pul teaches only Pul. The shoulders of all four got dislocated due to Jaiswal. He was in the hospital and now he has made a comeback. I think it was not the players but our staff who were getting injured.

Sanju Samson also talked about his batting. He said, “I always wanted to stand out because of my batting. Even if it was the first ball, I wanted to hit a six on it. That was the shift in my mind. I wanted to do something different. Why should I wait for 10 balls to hit a six? This was the reason behind my power hitting.

He further said, ‘I worked very hard during Covid. Many people helped me. I was very happy with the way things turned out. The grind continued. I was very satisfied. I just keep trying.”
