The 56th match of IPL 2024 was played between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. In this match, Rajasthan won the toss and decided to bowl. Batting first, Delhi scored 221 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Rajasthan team could score only 201 runs after playing 20 overs and lost the match by 20 runs.

Axar Patel (15), captain Rishabh Pant (15) and Gulbadin Naib (19) could not convert their good starts into big innings. In the end, Tristan Stubbs took Delhi beyond 200 by playing an inning of 41 runs in 20 balls. Talking about bowling, Ravi Ashwin took maximum 3 wickets for Rajasthan. Sanju Samson scored the most runs for Rajasthan Royals. He played an inning of 86 runs in 46 balls, which included 8 fours and six sixes. Apart from that, Riyan Parag was out after scoring 27 runs in 22 balls, Shubham Dubey was out after scoring 25 runs in 12 balls. Talking about Delhi’s bowling, Kuldeep Yadav, Khalil Ahmed, and Mukesh Kumar took two wickets each. Whereas Akshar Patel and Rasikh Dar Salaam got one wicket each.
