Now less than one and a half months is left before the start of the 17th season of IPL. Let us tell you that the upcoming season of IPL can start in the end of March or the first week of April. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made complete preparations for this.

The IPL season can be announced at any time. So for this season, defending champion and five-time title winner Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is also seen finalizing its preparations.

1. Mahish Teekshana

Chennai Super Kings has a history that it pays special attention to the spinners in its team. In the past, legendary spin bowlers like Muttiah Muralitharan, Suraj Randeep, Ravichandran Ashwin and Shadab Jakati have played for the team.

So in the upcoming season, once again the eyes of cricket fans are going to be on Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana. Keeping in mind the spin friendly pitch of Chepauk, he can prove to be a very important bowler for CSK.

Dhoni uses his sharpness with the new and old ball. So in the year 2022 and 2023 IPL seasons, Teekshana had taken 12 and 11 wickets respectively. However, now his eyes will be on improving his figures.
