IPL 2025 Mega Auction: After Rishabh Pant was sold the most expensive in the IPL auction, these were the reactions of the fans.

IPL 2025 Mega Auction: The mega auction for the upcoming 18th season of IPL has started today from 24th November in Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia. A total of 333 players are going to be seen bidding in this two-day auction. However, a maximum of only 204 players can be sold.

On the other hand, in this auction, Indian cricket team’s star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant has created history. Let us tell you that Pant has made a new record in the IPL auction, and he has become the most expensive player sold in the auction.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have signed Pant by paying a record Rs 27 crore. After Pant made this record in IPL, fans are seen reacting quickly through social media.

It is noteworthy that in the IPL auction, there was a tough competition between Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants to buy the player. The last value of Pant in the auction was Rs 20.75 crore, which was put by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

Subsequently, after Delhi Capitals carded the Right to Match, LSG decided to pay them a maximum of Rs 27 crore. But Delhi Capitals refused to take Pant for such a huge amount. Let us tell you that Pant, who made his IPL debut in the year 2016, has scored a total of 3284 runs in 111 matches played in IPL at an average of 35.31 and strike rate of 148.93.

Currently, Pant is playing for Team India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. It will be worth seeing how Pant is going to perform for Lucknow in the upcoming season of IPL.
