According to The Times of India, Suresh Raina said, ‘We should see this as an opportunity. If we look at Australian players, they are getting a lot of money and this is not seen with Indian players.

He is an excellent captain of Delhi Capitals, a brilliant batsman and a strong wicketkeeper. I feel that there will definitely be a bid of Rs 25 to 30 crores for him. Rishabh Pant is a brand.

The former player further said, ‘Rishabh has the ability to win the cup anywhere. He tried in Delhi but nothing happened. Same thing was seen with KL Rahul whereas Shreyas Iyer won the cup for Kolkata but he was not retained by the franchise.
