Sanju Samson has had to face a lot of struggles in his career. He made his debut in international cricket against Zimbabwe in 2015, but till now he has not been able to make a permanent place in the team. Sanju became very emotional while talking about his innings in the fourth T20 match against South Africa. Talking about the partnership with Tilak Verma, Sanju said, I have had many partnerships with him, he is a very young player and he is the future of Indian cricket and it is great to partner with him. I don’t like to talk too much, the last time I talked too much I was out for zero twice, I want to keep it simple and focus on what I can do. (That’s) what our captain (Suryakumar Yadav) was expecting from us, and we are happy that we accomplished it.

Shastri believes that either Ravindra Jadeja or Washington Sundar should play in the Perth Test along with Jasprit Bumrah, Akashdeep, Mohammed Siraj and Nitish Reddy.
