Jasprit Bumrah took wickets in back-to-back overs
In the second Test match being played at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, the visiting team did not have a very good start in reply to the Indian innings. Jasprit Bumrah has given the fourth blow to England by taking wickets at regular intervals.
Jasprit Bumrah had Joe Root caught in the slip by Shubman Gill in the 26th over. Actually, Root tried to play Bumrah’s off-side ball, but the ball took the edge of the bat and went into the hands of Shubman Gill, posted at first slip. In this way the Indian fast bowler made Root his victim for the 8th time.
After this, in his next over, Bumrah hit Ollie Pope, who scored a century in the first Test match, for all four with an excellent yorker. On the fifth ball of the 28th over, Bumrah bowled a wonderful ball and clean bowled Pope, the video of which went viral on social media. Bumrah has dismissed Ollie Pope for the 5th time in Test.

Talking about the match so far, the Indian team scored 396 runs in its first innings after losing all the wickets. Young opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal registered his name in history by scoring a double century. He played a brilliant inning of 209 runs in 290 balls with the help of 19 fours and 7 sixes. Apart from him, no other Indian batsman could even cross the mark of 35 runs.
Almost all the bowlers performed well for England. Along with James Anderson taking 3 wickets, the spin pair of Rehan Ahmed and Shoaib Bashir also took 3 wickets each. Tom Hartley got one wicket.
In response to India, England had lost four wickets for 155 runs till the time of writing the news. Jonny Bairstow 24* and Ben Stokes 5* are at the crease.
