BGT series starting from 22nd November
Former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly has recently said that passing judgment on the batting ability of young Sarfaraz Khan without giving him a chance abroad is no less than an injustice against the young player. Ganguly also said that critics should make some assumptions after his performance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series.
It is noteworthy that the 27-year-old player, after a record breaking performance in domestic cricket, made a brilliant debut against England at the beginning of the year. Recently, in the Bengaluru Test match against New Zealand, Sarfaraz scored a debut century, but in the two matches that followed, he could not show anything special.
Sourav Ganguly gave a big statement
On the other hand, now before the start of BGT, the former captain while talking to RevSportz about Sarfaraz Khan said – You have to give a chance to know him, how can you say anything without giving him a chance? First let him fail, he has scored a lot of runs in domestic cricket and has made his place in the team, no one has given him a chance.
Ganguly further said- So, do not dismiss him without giving him a chance, once you do, you will be in a position to assess him. I am very clear, you should give him a chance to know how good or bad he is, without doing so, do not make any judgment about him.
On the other hand, if we tell you about the BGT series, Team India is the defending champion of the trophy. The series will start with the first Test match to be held in Perth on 22 November. However, due to personal reasons, Rohit will not be able to play in the first Test match. It will be worth seeing that in the middle order, whom among Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel does the management give a chance in the playing eleven?
