Even if they don’t get you wickets, they will be able to slow down the scoring rate because of the cleverness with which they bowl. Gavaskar further said, ‘I felt that there are very long boundaries on these Australian wickets, so in such a situation you can include both of them in the playing XI. But this is a new management and new thinking. He has gone with Nitish Kumar Reddy, who is a promising player. There is no fault of his in this, but my only question is, is he completely prepared for Test cricket? Former legend, ‘He has not played many first class matches and so clearly, I think, this selection of Nitish is based on expectations and nothing less than that. Like all Indian cricket followers, I hope it is successful. The Indian team won the toss and batted first and the entire team was all out after scoring 150 runs.
