Former Indian cricket team captain and finishing master MS Dhoni has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections 2024. After teaching the tricks of cricket to the youth, now Dhoni will also be seen making voters aware.

It is noteworthy that Dhoni comes from Ranchi city of Jharkhand, and he has brought fame to the state and city across the world. So now the Election Commission is going to use this fame of Dhoni to make the voters aware in the upcoming elections. MS Dhoni is the most suitable face for the Election Commission to increase awareness among the voters in the state.

On the other hand, regarding this, Jharkhand Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar told Zee News that ‘Mahendra Singh Dhoni has given approval to the Election Commission to use his photograph. We are in touch with them for further detailed information. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will motivate voters to vote.

Now Dhoni plays only in IPL

On the other hand, if we give you information about Dhoni, after retiring from international cricket in the year 2020, Dhoni is now seen playing only in IPL. Dhoni has made CSK champion five times under his captaincy. However, information has not been revealed yet whether he will be seen playing in IPL 2025 or not.

All the teams have to submit the list of retired players to BCCI by 31st October. Only after this will it be known whether he is playing in the upcoming IPL season or not? On the other hand, in a recent discussion with Star Sports, Harbhajan said-

I am not sure whether Dhoni will play or not, but if he is available, he will definitely be the team’s first choice to retain, even if he is considered an uncapped player this season.
