Talking about the match, Pakistan declared its first innings at 448 runs for 6 wickets. In reply, Bangladesh scored 565 runs after losing all wickets in its first innings. The best batsman from the team, Mushfiqur Rahim, played a valuable innings of 191 runs. Apart from Mushfiqur Rahim, Shadman Islam scored 93 runs while Mehdi Hasan Miraz contributed 77 runs. Liton Das scored 56 runs.

Pakistan has batted very poorly in their second innings so far and they have lost six wickets for 108 runs till the lunch break on the fifth day. They are still 9 runs behind.
