West Indies women’s team will tour Pakistan in April for a series of 3 ODIs and 5 T20 matches starting from 18th April.
PAK-W vs WI-W: Pakistan Women’s Team will host West Indies Women’s Team in April for 3 ODI and 5 T20 series. These 3 ODI matches will be played on 18, 21 and 23 April and are part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25. After that, a 5-match T-20 series will be played from April 26 to May 3, which will provide an opportunity for both the teams to prepare better in view of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which will be held in September this year. Will be held in Bangladesh at the time of. All the matches between Pakistan and West Indies will be played at the National Bank Stadium (NBS), Karachi.
This will be the second tour of the West Indies women’s team outside the country since 2021. They last toured Pakistan in November 2021 for three ODIs, which they won. The upcoming ODI series will be Pakistan’s fourth such women’s series at home, having previously hosted Sri Lanka (June 2022), Ireland (November 2022) and South Africa (September 2023). Pakistan is currently at third position in the ICC Women’s Championship with 16 points, while West Indies is at the bottom at 9th position with 8 points. Pakistan’s final series in the ICC Women’s Championship will be against England in May 2024.
