Recently, Australia team’s experienced all-rounder Glenn Maxwell was admitted to the hospital. Actually, Maxwell had partied the whole night in Adelaide, after which his health deteriorated and then he was taken to the hospital via ambulance. Australia team captain Pat Cummins has given his opinion regarding Glenn Maxwell’s health.

Let us tell you, Glenn Maxwell had recently withdrawn his name from the ODI series against West Indies. He was playing cricket continuously and hence he needed some rest and that was the reason why he withdrew his name from the series against West Indies. However, only after this he was seen partying in a local pub in Adelaide.

According to India Today, Australia team captain Pat Cummins said, ‘We are all adults and if you want to party all night then it is your own decision. Glenn Maxwell was not on tour with Australia, he was at a private event and has nothing to do with the cricket team. So this is a slightly different thing. Whatever decision you take is your own and you should not have any problem with it.

Cricket Australia did not know anything about the accident with Glenn Maxwell

According to the report, Glenn Maxwell was at the golf club before going to the pub. However, after this the Australian all-rounder went to the pub where former fast bowler Brett Lee’s band was performing. There Glenn Maxwell’s health deteriorated and after that he was taken to the hospital via ambulance.

Cricket Australia did not know anything about this, although the board can now take strictest action against Glenn Maxwell. At present, Glenn Maxwell’s health is much better than before. Glenn Maxwell recently participated in the Big Bash League for Melbourne Stars.
