PCB announces National Women’s One-Day Tournament, see schedule


With the new changes made to the tournament, the league will be hosted in Faisalabad, with each team getting at least 10 matches. This tournament will be called the National Women’s One Day Tournament and it will start from Wednesday. The total prize money of the event is PKR2.245 million (73,618,859). This time six new teams will compete for the trophy – namely Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta and Rawalpindi.

There will be 30 matches in the league excluding the final. The teams claiming the top positions after the end of the league stage will directly advance to the finals. The final is scheduled to be held on May 11 in which the winning team will receive the money. The venues for the tournament are Jawad Club Cricket Ground, Iqbal Stadium and Bohranwali Cricket Ground, while Saeed Ajmal Academy Ground is the reserve venue.

Talking about the captains of the teams, Omaima Sohail will captain the Karachi zone, Lahore will be led by Kainaat Hafeez, Saima Malik will captain the Quetta, Humana Bilal will captain the Multan, while Gul Rukh and Mahnoor Aftab will captain the Peshawar and Rawalpindi respectively. do.

PCB rejected the news of getting Champions Trophy hybrid model, said- people write anything to make news

A PCB source told India Today on Friday, November 8, that Pakistan has not considered a hybrid model and is keen to host the entire tournament across three venues – Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. This clarification comes at a time when there is speculation that the International Cricket Council will announce the Champions Trophy schedule on November 11. ICC will soon announce the schedule of Champions Trophy Reports claim that the ICC will announce the schedule of the eight-team tournament without confirming the venue. According to the temporary schedule, all India’s matches have been held in Lahore due to security and logistical reasons.
