The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced today on March 26 that it has ICC The cricket rights have been awarded to Pakistan Television Corporation (PTVC) and Ten Sports Pakistan’s landing rights licensee Tower Sports.
Pakistan Television Corporation (PTVC) and Tower Sports have acquired non-exclusive rights for six men’s and women’s ICC World events until the end of 2025. PTVC and Tower Sports will have the TV rights as well as the digital rights as part of the package.
ICC’s gift for Pakistan Cricket
The events included in these deals are ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup 2024, ICC Women’s T-20 World Cup 2024, ICC Under-19 Women’s T-20 World Cup 2025, ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, ICC World Test Championship Final 2025 and ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup is 2025.
ICC CEO Geoff Allardyce said in an official statement: “We are delighted to welcome PTVC and Tower Sports to our portfolio as broadcast partners for the next two years. “Pakistan is a very important market for world cricket with a huge fan base and we are thrilled to be able to bring ICC events to more people in the country.”

Meanwhile, PTVC Managing Director Syed Mubashar Tauqeer Shah said in the ICC release: “Getting the rights for ICC World Events for the next two years is a huge achievement for us. We are thrilled to bring the ICC World Cup into the homes of millions of fans across the country.”
