The love story of Ashwin and Preeti is no less than a film

Ashwin’s wife’s name is Preeti Narayanan. Ashwin, who is a father of two daughters, has on several occasions attributed his success to his family, especially his wife and his daughters. Veteran off-spinner Ashwin and his wife Preeti studied in the same school during their childhood, were friends in their childhood and this friendship turned into a lifelong companionship.

Ashwin and Preeti initially dated each other for some time. After that, both of them got engaged in the beginning of 2011. At the end of the same year i.e. on November 13, 2011 Ashwin and Preeti tied the knot in a grand traditional wedding ceremony in Chennai.

Ashwin has achieved a big feat by taking 500 Test wickets this year. Currently, Team India is in America for the T20 World Cup. Ashwin will join the team for the 5-match Border Gavaskar Trophy starting from November 22.
