Chennai Super Kings bowlers bowled brilliantly on Sunday and finally achieved victory against Punjab Kings. Chennai bowlers defended the score of 167 runs and Punjab team could score only 138 runs, on the basis of which Chennai won the match by 28 runs.

With this win, Chennai gained 2 points and reached the third position in the points table. After 5 consecutive defeats against Punjab Kings in IPL, Chennai Super Kings finally got victory. IPL champion Chennai had defeated Punjab Kings in the IPL on 16 April 2021, after which it now managed to win in the year 2024.

Ravindra Jadeja’s ball caught fire against Punjab Kings

CSK bowlers did not allow even a single Punjab batsman to stay on the field for long. Despite Chennai’s three big bowlers being out of the team, CSK won on the strength of the bowling unit.
