After which, in the third over, Abhishek Porel (2) lost his wicket against Yash Dayal and Jake Fraser McGurk (21) was run out. The second ball of the third over was played by Shai Hope towards the bowler.

The ball touched Yash Dayal’s hand and hit the stumps of the non-striker’s end. McGurk had come too far from the crease and had to return to the pavilion. In the fourth over, Mohammad Siraj again got Kumar Kushagra out LBW. Delhi Capitals lost 4 wickets at the score of just 30 runs in the powerplay. The team got a bad start, which became the biggest reason for the defeat.

Axar Patel’s wicket also snatched victory from Delhi

RCB vs DC, Axar Patel was captaining Delhi Capitals against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Today he played a captaincy inning of 57 runs for the team with the help of 5 fours and 3 sixes in 39 balls. Axar Patel got caught by Faf du Plessis at backward point while attempting a big shot against Yash Dayal in the 16th over. Akshar Patel has the ability to hit big shots, if he had stayed at the crease for some more time then perhaps Delhi could have won this match.
