Rishabh Pant will get more salary than Virat Kohli
Rishabh Pant is a Grade-B player in BCCI Central Contract, he gets Rs 3 crore annually. Including IPL and BCCI’s central contract, Pant’s total annual earnings have now reached Rs 30 crore. Virat Kohli is a Grade-A+ player in BCCI Central Contract, he gets Rs 7 crore annually. At the same time, before the IPL 2025 mega auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore had retained Kohli for Rs 21 crore, his annual earning from cricket is now Rs 28 crore.
Shreyas Iyer did not get a place in the list for this reason
According to CNBCTV18, Shreyas Iyer could also be included in this list, who was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 26.75 crore in the mega auction. However, Shreyas does not have a BCCI central contract, due to which he is not in the list.
Jadeja and Bumrah are also included in the list
Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja are also included in the top-5 players earning more from IPL and BCCI central contracts. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah (25 crores) is third in the list, Ravindra Jadeja (25 crores) is fourth and Indian captain Rohit Sharma (23.30 crores) is fifth.
