Rishabh Pant has hit 66 sixes so far in Test cricket.
In the third and last Test against New Zealand in Mumbai, Indian batsman Rishabh Pant batted brilliantly and made some more records in his name. Pant not only became the fastest Indian to score a half-century in Test cricket against the Kiwi team, he also achieved a feat in the history of Test cricket which no one has been able to do till date.
Rishabh Pant came to bat at a time when the team was in trouble after losing four wickets for 84 runs. Pant, who became India’s troubleshooter in those difficult times, scored his 13th Test half-century. In this match, he completed his fifty in 36 balls and created a new record. This is the fastest half-century by any Indian against New Zealand.

By hitting two sixes in this innings, Rishabh Pant achieved a feat which no one has been able to do till date. With this, Pant has hit 66 sixes in Test cricket, which is more than the number of innings played by him (65). Rishabh Pant has played 38 test matches so far, in which he has got a chance to bat 65 times. He is the only batsman in the list of batsmen who have played at least 50 innings whose sixes are more than his innings.
Pant was out in the first innings against New Zealand after scoring 60 runs in 59 balls with the help of 8 fours and 2 sixes. With this, he has become India’s number-1 batsman in the history of Test cricket as a wicketkeeper who has played the most number of innings of more than 50 runs with a strike rate of more than 100. In this list, he has left behind former captain MS Dhoni. Whereas in world cricket, now only Adam Gilchrist is ahead of Pant.
