The first T20 match between South Africa and India will be played tomorrow at Kingsmead, Durban.
Team India is going to play a 4-match T20 series against South Africa from 8th November. Ruturaj Gaikwad has not been included in the Indian squad for this series. Speaking on this, captain Suryakumar Yadav said that he will definitely make his place in the team with his consistent performance.
Let us tell you that Gaikwad was included in the Zimbabwe series. There he played brilliantly and scored 77* and 49 runs respectively in two matches. However, after this he was out of the Indian team.
Now in the press conference before the first T20 match of South Africa vs India, Suryakumar Yadav has praised Ruturaj Gaikwad and also supported his not being selected.
He is young and performing well – Suryakumar Yadav
Suryakumar said, Ruturaj is a great player. Wherever he plays, he is consistently performing well in all formats. There are many players who have been performing well before him too, so there is a routine or process, I think the management has come up with it, so it is important to follow it.
The Indian T20 captain said, he is young and performing well. I think his turn will also come. Its time will also come.
