South Africa defeated India by three wickets in the second T20 match played at St. George’s Park. In this match, Varun Chakraborty bowled very well for Team India but he failed to make his team win the match.

Let us tell you that Team India, batting first, scored 124 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. On behalf of the team, Hardik Pandya played an inning of 39* runs while Akshar Patel contributed 27 runs. South Africa, while chasing the target, also kept losing its wickets at regular intervals. Reeza Hendricks scored 24 runs while captain Aiden Markram was out after scoring three runs. Ryan Rickelton also became the victim of Arshdeep Singh after scoring 13 runs. David Miller was out without opening the account while Heinrich Klaasen scored only 7 runs.

However, for the hosts, Tristan Stubbs played a match-winning inning of 47* runs. On behalf of Team India, Varun Chakraborty bowled lethally and took 5 wickets for 17 runs in four overs, while Ravi Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh took 1 wicket each. With this victory, South Africa has leveled the four-match T20 series 1-1. Now the third T20 match between these two teams will be played on 13 November in Centurion. If South Africa wants to take the lead in this series, then it is very important for them to perform well in the upcoming match.

While batting India only got 9 runs in last 2 overs, I thought match could have gone away from South Africa there if end was better. Tristan Stubbs is a very dangerous player. He has got unbelievable reach. Gerald Coetzee’s power hitting in the end was crucial for SA.
