And Cheteshwar Pujara’s contribution in the last two series was huge, due to which India won there. Therefore number 3 becomes a very important batting order. Parthiv further said- Shubman Gill has shown that he has the ability to score runs in Australia, although all of his runs came as an opener. Rishabh Pant’s 89 runs are always talked about in the Gabba Test we won, but Shubman Gill also scored 91 runs as an opener. So he (Gill) knows that he can bat under pressure.
