Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets in the second and final Test match played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi and won this magnificent Test series 2-0. All the players from Bangladesh played an important role in their team’s victory.

Talking about Pakistan, their players failed to leave their mark in this series. After the match, Pakistan captain Shan Masood made a big revelation about his team’s performance. Shan Masood also said that the players had not learned anything from the defeat against Australia in 2023 and this is a very bad thing for them too.

Shan Masood has captained the Pakistan Test team in 5 matches and he believes that Pakistan has lost four matches in which it has won. Shan Masood wants his team to become even better and the players should also be serious about their fitness.

After the match, Shan Masood said in the presentation, ‘I am very disappointed. We were very excited for our home season. The story was the same against Australia and we have not learned anything from it. We thought that we would play good cricket against Australia too but it did not happen. During my tenure, it has happened four times when we were ahead in the match but could not win it. I think that fitness of the players is very important in Test cricket.’

We need to be more fit and prepared: Shan Masood

Shan Masood further said, ‘It is very important for us to become more fit, clean and improve our preparation. This will be a very long Test and domestic season and now we have to start preparing for England as well.

In the first Test, we went to play with four fast bowlers and we believed that the workload on three players would be more. This is what happened and we lost a fast bowler in every innings. According to me, in this Test match also, we could not perform well with only three fast bowlers and 2 spinners. We should have included one more fast bowler in our playing XI.
