According to the report, he suffered an ankle injury during the Indian Premier League 2024 which the cricketer did not take seriously. This is the reason why this injury took a serious form and Shardul Thakur had to undergo surgery.
However, the good thing is that his surgery has been successful and the Indian player himself gave this information on his official social media account. Shardul Thakur shared his post-surgery photo on social media and wrote in its caption, ‘The operation was successful.’
