Melbourne Renegades player Shaun Marsh has officially announced his retirement from professional cricket. The veteran cricketer announced to his teammates at the weekend that the upcoming match against Sydney Thunder will be his last match in the Big Bash League.
Marsh’s recent performance was excellent. He first scored an unbeaten half-century, which earned him the title of Player of the Match. This brilliant performance led Melbourne Renegades to a six-wicket win against Melbourne Stars at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night. His brilliant BBL 13 journey with three half-centuries has now come to an end.

“I have loved playing for the Renegades, I have met some special people over the last five years and the friendships I have made will last a lifetime,” Shaun Marsh was quoted as saying by the Melbourne Renegades’ official website.
