India defeated Zimbabwe by 23 runs in the third T20 match.
Fast bowler Avesh Khan has said about Shubman Gill, who is captaining the Zimbabwe tour, that he is the captain of the bowlers. This statement of Avesh came after India’s third T20 match against Zimbabwe. The right-arm fast bowler has said that Gill’s captaincy has contributed in getting him wickets.

In this match, Gill played a brilliant innings of 66 runs in 49 balls while batting in the opening, and Team India scored 183 runs. In the match, Avesh Khan took 2 wickets giving 39 runs in four overs. After this, India stopped Sikandar Raza-led Zimbabwe at 159 runs and won the match by 23 runs.

After this victory, India has taken a 2-1 lead in the five-match T20 series. So after the match was over, in a conversation with Sony Sports, Avesh Khan said about Gill’s captaincy during the post-match – Shubman Gill is the captain of the bowlers.

Avesh further said- If you make a slight mistake in bowling, then your bowling gets affected, then he comes up with his plan. He tells you what needs to be done. He always helps a lot, he has helped me get 1-2 wickets.
Whenever I talk to the captain I tell him when I want to bowl, but there is no preference about it, he can make me bowl anytime and I am always ready. I always bowl with the attitude of taking wickets for the team.
