After that he achieved this historic feat by dismissing Kuldeep Yadav on the third day of the test match. The English fast bowler achieved this feat at the age of 41 years and 223 days, whereas before him Shane Warne had held the record of taking 700 wickets at the age of 37 years and 104 days, whereas when Muralitharan had completed 700 wickets, his Age was 35 years 88 days.
