India has won the T20 World Cup again after 17 years. In the final match, Team India created history by winning by 7 runs. This was the first time under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy and the second time for India, when the Indian team won the T20 World Cup. India won the T20 World Cup trophy after a long wait of about 17 years. Earlier, Team India had won the first T20 World Cup edition in 2007 under the captaincy of former captain MS Dhoni. On the other hand, after winning the T20 World Cup, Team India returned home on July 4, where the team players, support staff and coaches will be felicitated in a ceremony at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Before this felicitation ceremony in the stadium, the entire stadium has echoed with slogans in the name of captain Rohit Sharma. Rohit is the player who has played the most matches and scored the most runs in Men’s T20 International cricket. Rohit has scored 4231 runs in 159 matches in his 17-year international cricket career.
