Opener Sharman Nigrodh scored 60 runs and Bipin Saurabh scored 31 runs while all the other batsmen flopped. Seven players from Bihar scored single digits. The team led by Mayank Agarwal wreaked havoc with the ball. The spin pair of Mohsin Khan and Shreyas Gopal took three and four wickets respectively. Karnataka had scored 16 runs in three overs before the umpires ended the day. Only 59.5 overs were bowled on the first day and the second day was abandoned without a single ball being bowled. Karnataka’s last game against Kerala was also affected by rain and the match ended in a draw. Their first game against Madhya Pradesh was also affected by rain and bad light. They have got only two points in two matches so far. Talking about Bihar, they will face Haryana in the first match of Ranji Trophy 2024.
