In this match, Ireland’s Gaby Lewis achieved a major feat by scoring a century. She has joined the list of players who have scored two or more centuries in T20 International. She is the first Irish female cricketer to achieve this record. Talking about the match, Ireland batted first and scored 173 runs in 20 overs losing three wickets, in reply, Sri Lanka’s team could only score 166 runs in 20 overs losing seven wickets. This was Gabby Lewis’s second T20 International century. Earlier, she had scored an unbeaten 105 against Germany. According to the ICC, this right-handed player is now one of the 11 female players to score two or more centuries in the T20 format. She joins England’s Danni Wyatt, Australia’s Meg Lanning and Beth Mooney, Uganda’s Proscovia Alako, Romania’s Rebecca Blake and UAE’s Isha Ojha in scoring two centuries each.
