The veteran says that he was not expected to survive after that serious accident. Flintoff has got a new life and he has to focus only on the positives. I’ve got a second chance at life- Andrew Flintoff Speaking on the BBC show “Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams,” Andrew Flintoff said, I really shouldn’t be here with what happened. It’s going to be a long road, and I’m just getting started. I have to look at the positives, I’m still here. I’ve got another chance. Let us tell you that this show was shot three weeks after Andrew Flintoff’s accident. Flintoff further revealed that after the accident, when he used to go out, he had to cover his face with a mask. And he also had to face many challenges mentally. I want to go out and do something, but I am not able to do it. At the moment wherever I go I have a full mask and goggles on my face. I suffer from stress and I get nightmares and flashbacks. It has become very difficult to cope. But I am thinking that if I don’t do something then I will never be able to do anything. I have to get on with it. Andrew Flintoff was further asked by one of his students if he was feeling 100 percent well right now? To which he replied, No, I don’t know what’s better completely. I am where I am now. I am different than who I was, that’s something I’ll have to deal with for the rest of my life.
