12 accused of the gang that killed Suresh Raina’s uncle got life imprisonment

Among the 12 people involved in this murder, there were three women as well. The incident involved members of the Bawaria gang who used sharp-edged weapons. Several members of the family were seriously injured during the attack. Ashok Kumar (58) died on the spot, while his wife Asha Devi (55), son Kaushal Kumar (32), Apin Kumar (24), and mother-in-law Satya Devi (80) were seriously injured. Kaushal Kumar also died in the hospital during treatment. Suresh Raina left the IPL and returned home on hearing the news. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed to solve the case After this incident, the then Chief Minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh immediately formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT). This team included IGP of Amritsar Border Range, SSP of Pathankot, SP etc. SIT collected evidence during the investigation and found a total of 100 people suspicious. Given the gravity of the case, the SIT acted swiftly and played a key role in solving the case. This punishment not only provides justice to the victim’s family but also sends a strong message to other criminals that such crimes will not be tolerated.
