But when he returned with the team for the upcoming matches of the series, he was stopped at Rajkot airport. Now the matter has been resolved after the intervention of the Government of India and BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India). After the incident, England captain Ben Stokes has thanked BCCI and the Indian government for resolving the issue quickly. “It’s always an anxious period for anyone to wait for it, but thankfully we got it this morning,” Stokes said, according to the Times of India. The people at the airport did a very good job in giving him the visa initially and the BCCI and the government got him the visa quickly. We were not concerned about this matter. We were confident that we would get a visa for Rehaan before the match.
