WPL 2024: Women’s Premier League will start from February 23, the final of the tournament will be played on March 17.
The much-awaited second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is set to begin on February 23. The first match of the tournament will be played between the two finalists of the inaugural edition. Defending champions Mumbai Indians will take on last year’s runners-up Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. This match will start at 7.30 pm (IST). According to the schedule prepared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Royal Challengers Bangalore will face UP Warriors in the second match. After the eliminator on March 15, the summit clash will be played on March 17. Both the matches will be held in Delhi. A total of 24 matches will be played in WPL 2024 A total of 22 matches will be played in WPL 2024 and all of them will start at 7:30 PM. Like the last season in 2023, there will be no home-away format, something that fans are used to seeing in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
