With this victory, this series has now reached a level of 1-1. Pakistan registered victory on its home ground after 1338 days. England had won the first match of the series on this ground. For Pakistan, only two bowlers took 20 wickets in this test match and this happened after 52 years in the history of test cricket. Actually, Sajid Khan took seven wickets while Noman Ali took three wickets in the first innings. In the second innings, Sajid took two wickets while Noman took eight wickets. In this way, these two bowlers together took all 20 wickets of England and gave this special test victory to Pakistan. This is also Pakistan’s first Test win under the captaincy of Shan Masood. Five times before in Test cricket, two bowlers have taken 20 wickets together. This feat has been done six times before in Test cricket and this was the seventh time when two bowlers together have taken all 20 wickets in a Test match. This happened for the first time in 1902 in the Australia vs England Test match. Australian bowlers Noble and Tremblay had achieved this feat for the first time. After this, in 1909, Blyth and Hurst of England together achieved this feat against Australia. In 1910, Vlogger and Faulkner of South Africa together took 20 wickets for England. In 1956, England’s Jim Laker and T Lock together took 20 wickets for Australia. In 1956 itself, Pakistan’s Mahmood and Khan Mohammad took 20 wickets in a Test against Australia, and in 1972, Australia’s B Massey and Dennis Lillee together took a total of 20 wickets for England. Talking about the match, the England team had got the target of 297 runs, in response the entire England team was limited to only 144 runs in the second innings. Sajid Khan received the Player of the Match award for his excellent bowling.
