It is noteworthy that the 9th season of Champions Trophy will be played in the hosting of Pakistan. So recently, PCB shared the list of arrangements made for the tournament with ICC. During this, PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi was also present. If Geo News is to be believed regarding the organization of Champions Trophy in the country, then the top officials of PCB assured the ICC member board that the three stadiums (Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi) which are undergoing renovation work, will be ready before the start of the tournament in February. Will get ready first. Besides, PCB has also invited delegations from member countries to come to Pakistan and assess the preparations made for the tournament. Also, let us tell you that the situation is not yet clear whether India will go to Pakistan to participate in this multinational tournament or not? The situation regarding this has not been clarified yet. So some time ago, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah had said that the team will go to Pakistan only if the Board gets permission from the Government of India. ICC may consider hybrid model On the other hand, India can consider holding the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on a hybrid model like the Asia Cup 2023, if India does not tour Pakistan. If this happens then the Indian cricket team can play its Champions Trophy in UAE. Apart from UAE, names of Sri Lanka and South Africa can also be seen. So if we talk about the tournament, its 9th season is ready to be played. It was last organized by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2017. During that time, Pakistan won the title for the first time by defeating India.

Shaheen Shah Afridi is also not fully fit, yet you did not include Mohammad Ali, I don’t understand what options they have in this. Shahzad further said- How do you justify not selecting Kamran Ghulam and Sahibzada Farhan in the team? What sin did they commit? Is it because they bat in the same position where Babar bats? When Yousuf was the coach, he left everything to two-three players. Yousuf is now the selector and this is the team he is selecting. Give me a logic why Kamran Ghulam was left out? PCB postponed the National Junior Championship just a day after it started, know the big reason here
18 regional teams participate in this domestic tournament of Pakistan. PCB (Image Credit- Twitter) Just a day after the start of the National Junior Championship, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to postpone it. The participants and officials of the tournament have been informed about its postponement by PCB. On the other hand, PCB said in a short press release regarding the sudden postponement of the tournament that due to unavoidable circumstances, the tournament is being postponed with immediate effect. It is worth noting that a lot of money was spent by PCB to gather the participants of the tournament. Furthermore, a Pakistan Cricket Board confidant revealed that PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi had received several complaints that participants in the tournament had taken part with fake documentation, which could have led to problems in the selection of teams as well as the underlying issue of age fraud. This PCB confidant was quoted by News18 as saying- Junior tournaments are considered by the board as the backbone of preparing the right talent for first-class cricket and international performances. This is why despite the long selection process, Mohsin Naqvi got upset when he received several complaints, some of which were valid. PCB may suffer financial loss It is worth mentioning that 18 regional teams of the country participate in this National Junior Championship of Pakistan. And the PCB brings the players who perform well in this to First Class Cricket, from where the door to the National Team opens. However, now these 18 teams were taken to training centres where training took place and the players were provided with food, accommodation and transport facilities apart from kits and daily allowances, the total amount of which was reportedly in the millions of rupees. But this now only seems to be causing a financial loss to the PCB.
