A PCB source told India Today on Friday, November 8, that Pakistan has not considered a hybrid model and is keen to host the entire tournament across three venues – Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. This clarification comes at a time when there is speculation that the International Cricket Council will announce the Champions Trophy schedule on November 11. ICC will soon announce the schedule of Champions Trophy Reports claim that the ICC will announce the schedule of the eight-team tournament without confirming the venue. According to the provisional schedule proposed by the PCB, the Champions Trophy match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is to be held in Lahore on March 1 next year. The tournament will start on 19 February 2025 with the first match between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi. The final will be held on March 9 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. According to the temporary schedule, all India’s matches have been held in Lahore due to security and logistical reasons.
