ICC has also approved the qualification process for T20 World Cup 2026 Meanwhile, 12 teams, including the two hosts India and Sri Lanka, will automatically qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, while eight teams will play regional qualifiers for a place in the mega event. Additionally, the top eight teams will be part of the automatic qualification for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 and the remaining spots will be filled by the next highest ranked teams. “The ICC Board has also approved the qualification process for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026,” the ICC said in an official media release.
