IPL 2024: Know when will Mayank Yadav be fit? Captain KL Rahul gave a big update
Mayank was not able to bowl his entire quota of overs against Mumbai. Mayank Yadav (Image Credit- Twitter X) In IPL 2024, yesterday on 30th April, the 48th match was played between Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians. Let us tell you that in this match, fast bowler Mayank Yadav was successful in making a comeback after injury. However, once again due to pain he was not able to bowl his full quota. It is noteworthy that Mayank Yadav had made his debut in the match against Punjab Kings in the ongoing IPL season. In this match, he took three wickets and bowled at a speed of 150 kilometers per hour. So he did a similar performance in the next match against RCB. The right-arm fast bowler was given the Player of the Match award for his excellent bowling in both these matches. But after this, when he came to play his third match against Gujarat Titans, he suffered a side strain in this match. Because of this he could not play the next five matches for Lucknow. Mayank was successful in making a comeback against Mumbai Indians yesterday, but when he came to bowl his fourth over, he suffered from side strain after bowling the first ball of the over. After this he could not bowl and went out of the field after giving 31 runs in 3.1 overs and taking 1 wicket. But now on Mayank’s return, team captain KL Rahul has given a big update. KL Rahul gave a big update on Mayank Yadav Let us tell you that regarding Mayank Yadav’s injury, KL Rahul said – I have not talked to him yet, but after taking the wicket, he was out of the match due to mild pain in his hand. After throwing the first ball he said the same thing that he was feeling a little sad. I was thinking that I can’t take any more risks for five balls. She is still young and precious. We are the ones who have to take care of him. From this statement given by Rahul, you can guess that Mayank’s injury is very serious. Once they talk to him, only then can a picture of Mayank Yadav’s comeback become clear?

Indian Cricket Team (Image Credit- Twitter) Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has given a big statement regarding India-Pakistan cricket relations. He said that if Team India tours Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, they will consider a bilateral series with India. In 2021, Pakistan was named as the host of the Champions. Next year’s Champions Trophy is one of the biggest tournaments to be held in that country. This will be the first time that Pakistan will host an ICC tournament in its entirety since the 2009 attacks on the Sri Lankan national cricket team. According to sources in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Team India may refuse to go to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy. He has also said that changing the venue for this tournament or implementing a hybrid model can also be considered. The source also said that it is important to obtain permission from the government to visit Pakistan, and given the current tense relations between the two countries, it may be difficult to get permission. Team India will not go to Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025 A BCCI source was quoted by NDTV as saying, “Forget bilateral series… Team India cannot even tour Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. The venue may change, so a hybrid model is also possible. The Indian board will need permission from the government to tour, currently our relations with Pakistan are also not that good. Champions Trophy is an ICC event, so it will be a difficult decision for India, but without the government’s order/green signal, I don’t see it happening in the near future, it’s impossible. The last bilateral series between India and Pakistan was played in 2012–13. India had refused to go to Pakistan to participate in the Asia Cup in 2023. As a result, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) adopted a hybrid model for the event, with Sri Lanka co-hosting with Pakistan. India and Pakistan last faced each other in the 2023 ODI World Cup.
