However, Zampa did not get much chance, and he played only five matches that season. Adam Zampa then joined Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2021, but he withdrew from the season along with his teammate Kane Richardson. Both Adam Zampa and Richardson cited the bio bubble as the reason for this. Let us tell you, during that time the whole world including India was struggling with the Corona epidemic. Recently Adam Zampa told the reason due to which he decided to withdraw his name from IPL 2021. A fan broke the bio bubble and came to ask for an autograph- Adam Zampa Adam Jampa told that during IPL 2021, a fan broke the bio bubble and reached him to get an autograph, after which Jampa and Richardson talked to the management of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Talking on The Final Word Cricket Podcast, Jampa said, One day we were sitting by the pool and a fan came asking for an autograph and the security personnel came running. We thought if it is so easy to break the bio bubble, then this season will not go on beyond this week. We told the owners what we thought. Luckily we were on a flight from Qatar to Melbourne when Australia went into lockdown and four days later the IPL was cancelled. I was very upset with the quarantine- Jampa Adam Zampa revealed that he had to suffer physically and mentally due to being quarantined during COVID-19. Through news channels, Zampa and Ken Richardson came to know about the current situation in India during the second wave, due to which they became even more worried. Looking at the IPL, which me and Kane had missed, we had done a week’s quarantine in India and put on the telly and it was the ABC channel talking about the Covid situation in India. We looked at each other and said, “What are you going to do?” He had a family and we were already in a year-long quarantine anyway so I was very tired. After being a part of Rising Pune Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore, Adam Zampa joined Rajasthan Royals in 2023, he played some matches that season. However, before IPL 2024, he withdrew his name due to personal reasons. Zampa has so far taken 21 wickets in 14 IPL matches at an economy of 7.74.
