Yuzvendra Chahal has created history by taking one wicket against Mumbai Indians in the 38th match of IPL. He has achieved the biggest feat in the history of IPL which is every bowler’s dream. Chahal took the wicket of Mohammad Nabi in the match against Mumbai Indians and became the first bowler to take 200 wickets in IPL history. Chahal achieved this feat in the 152nd innings of his 153rd match.
Before Chahal, bowlers reached the figures of 50, 100, 150 wickets but no one could reach 200 wickets. But brilliant spinner Chahal has kept this big achievement in his name. Not only this, he has also become the first spinner to take 200 wickets as a spinner. Former Chennai bowler Dwayne Bravo is second in the list of spinners with 189 wickets. Mumbai Indians spinner Piyush Chawla is at third place in this list.

Chahal started his IPL career in 2013. There he got a chance to play a match, in which he gave 34 runs. After this, he played 14 matches in 2014 in which he took 12 wickets. After this Chahal never looked back. He improved his performance by taking 23 wickets in 2015, 21 wickets in 2016, 14 wickets in 2017, 12 wickets in 2018, 18 wickets in 2019 and 21 wickets in 2020. After this, Chahal defeated many legendary bowlers and took 18 wickets in 2021, 27 wickets in 2022 and 21 wickets in the last season. He has taken 13 wickets in 8 matches played so far.
Amit Mishra warned Chahal
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) posted a video of veteran leg spinner Amit Mishra, in this video he congratulated Chahal and promised him that once he gets a chance to play, he will leave Chahal behind.

Talking about Amit Mishra, he has 173 wickets in 161 matches and he is still yet to get a chance in the current IPL 2024. Actually, Lucknow is giving priority to Ravi Bishnoi and Krunal Pandya as spin-bowling options.
