There are only a few days left for the Indian Premier League 2024 to start. before this Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is preparing to change the name of the team. There is information that the Faf du Plessis-led team can change the name of the franchise in the RCB Unbox event, which is scheduled to take place on March 19.
The franchise has recently shared a video, in which South film star Rishabh Shetty is seen. In the video he can be seen asking to remove the horse addressed to Bangalore. Due to this, it is being speculated that the word Bangalore will be changed to the original name of the city, Bengaluru.

After the unbox event, the franchise will leave for Chennai so that the players can familiarize themselves with the conditions. RCB will start their campaign in the tournament on March 22 against Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
