Harsha Bhogle also called Bangladesh’s win the team’s biggest Test series win. He wrote,

To be honest, Bangladesh has had many moments to be proud of. Beating India in the 2007 World Cup is the biggest achievement. How fitting that two kids from that day, Shakib and Mushfiqur, now in the field as experienced players, lead their team to their biggest Test series win.

Bangladesh showed a great game

Pakistan’s team was all out for 274 runs in the first innings of the second Test match played at Rawalpindi Stadium. Saim Ayub (58), Shan Masood (57) and Salman Ali Agha (54) played important innings. Mehdi Hasan Miraz took the maximum of 5 wickets for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh lost 6 wickets at a score of 26 in the first innings. But then a 165-run partnership between Liton Das and Mehdi Hasan brought the team back. Bangladesh was all out at 262 runs in the first innings. Liton Das scored the highest 138 runs.

In the second innings, Pakistan was all out for 172 runs. Hasan Mahmud took 5 wickets for Bangladesh. Bangladesh then successfully chased the target of 185 runs with 6 wickets in hand.
