Indian cricket team’s 22-year-old young all-rounder Tilak Verma has made a huge leap in the latest ICC rankings released recently. Let us tell you that now he has reached the third position in the category of batsmen in T20 International cricket.

Tilak has got the golden gift of batting stormy in the recently concluded four-match T20 series against South Africa. It is noteworthy that Tilak had created history by playing century innings in consecutive matches against the Proteas team. In this series, Tilak scored a total of 280 runs in the four matches played at a stormy strike rate of 198.58 and an average of 140.

So now in T20 cricket, he has reached the third position in the category of batsmen with 806 rating points. Tilak has achieved this feat in just 20 matches. After the series against South Africa, Tilak has made a big and huge jump of 69 points.

In T20 cricket, Australia’s opening batsman Travis Head is at the first position with 855 rating points, while England’s wicketkeeper batsman Phil Salt is at the second position with 828 rating points.
