In IPL 2024, Abhishek Sharma is seen batting explosively for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The young batsman can soon be seen playing for India in the blue jersey. After the last match against Lucknow Super Giants, Abhishek Sharma revealed that due to a mistake his family could not watch his brilliant innings in Hyderabad. Abhishek Sharma made a mistake

Abhishek Sharma told that his parents were going to come to Hyderabad to watch the SRH vs LSG match. But while booking the tickets, he booked tickets for Amritsar instead of Hyderabad. After the match, he was seen talking to his parents on the phone, due to which he was asked on GeoCinema who he was talking to on the phone.

Responding to which Abhishek Sharma said, ‘I was talking to my parents. They were supposed to come for this match, but unfortunately, I booked a flight for them from home (to another venue). I was supposed to book (a flight ticket) for Hyderabad, but I booked it for Amritsar.

In the match against Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad chased the target of 188 runs within 10 overs. And registered a big win by 10 wickets. Travis Head played an unbeaten inning of 89 runs in 30 balls. Whereas Abhishek Sharma had scored unbeaten 75 runs in 28 balls.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are third in the points table with seven wins and 14 points from 12 matches. The team has strengthened its position in the race for the playoffs. The team has to play the last two matches of the league stage against Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings, only after winning both these matches the team can qualify for the playoffs.
